An International Viewpoint, Bringing the Global Pensions Community Together

We are delighted to have brought to you, exclusively for PPI Governors and Supporting Members, a series of internationally focussed virtual events.

Many countries face similar issues to the UK; pension reforms and an ageing population. By coming together as an international community, comparing programme developments and experiences, especially in light of the impact of COVID-19 on the retirement landscape, what lessons can we learn from other countries?

We brought together five leading experts who shared their country’s experiences and issues and the current reforms either in discussion or already implemented. These seminars sought to provide you with the exclusive opportunity to hear from others outside of the UK, to ask any questions you may have and to share your own experiences and thoughts on the issues facing the UK.

These events were chaired by Madeline Forrester Managing Director of MFS International (U.K.) Ltd & PPI Council Member.

These events were invitation only.

These events aimed to reflect the approach to pensions in other countries. Sometimes the same terminology is used in other countries to describe a different concept than that which we understand it to mean in the UK. Where possible we have tried to clarify this.
