Automatic Enrolment Series: How will automatic enrolment affect pension saving?

The series as a whole is sponsored by the Association of British Insurers, the Defined Contribution Investment Forum, the Department for Work and Pensions, the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, Legal and General and The People's Pension.

The particular report analyses the potential effects that employee and employer responses to automatic enrolment could have on scheme membership and the total value of assets in private sector workplace pension schemes.

The seminar was chaired by Chris Curry, PPI Director and was attended by people representing a broad range of interests within Government, the pensions industry and the third sector.

Nigel Wilson (Group CEO of Legal and General) gave a pension providers’ perspective on automatic enrolment.  Please click here to view the Legal and General presentation.
